Meet Rod "Torque" Redline from CARS 2

We're pretty big fans of the Pixar movie CARS, and were followed the pregnancy of her sequel, Cars 2, as in the cinemas on 24th June. To this end, we have provided you already have a dozen new characters who will be rubbing bumpers with Lightning McQueen and Mater in the new film introduced. The folks at Pixar picked up our enthusiasm and offered what is, to us, a very great honor, revealing a new character from Cars 2 exclusively on Autoblog!

So, here it is. Meet Rod Torque Redline, described by the boys and girls at Pixar as "the greatest American spy in the world" and spoke of the legendary Army of Darkness star Bruce Campbell. Obviously, the best Made-in-the-USA muscle machines on the market seems Rod's to be the form most strongly influenced by the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger, with just enough information from both its form clearly enough to avoid the hold inspired lawyers. Unfortunately Camaro seems to affect your AWOL Mr. Redline, but you're already the star of a little independent film called Transformers franchise. No matter, Rod looks ready for action in the design, which up to a much wider story than his laid-in Radiator Springs-plot of the first film.

Rod Torque Redline is considered by many as the greatest American spy in the world. Recruited after the Cold War for both his brains and muscles, torque is a tough-as-nails Detroit muscle car with a mastery of disguises. In his latest deep cover operation, he received important information about the plot to sabotage the World Grand Prix. Said Rod plans to meet with his British counterpart to his discoveries at the World Grand Prix Welcome Reception in Tokyo, Japan share. a rusty tow truck named Mater American - but with the bad guys hot on his exhaust rod at the ditch Intel and early with the first party guest, he is forced.
